Non synthetic early silk ribbon woven red light blue and dark blue RAF colours foreign service helmet pagri flash.

Approx 4" folded to 3 1/2" (70 mm in length). Worn vertically on the left side of the drab or white Wolseley helmet or slouch hat. An earlier example harder to find these days.

The Glider Pilot Regiment was a British Airborne Forces unit of the Second World War, which was responsible for crewing the British Army's military gliders and saw action in the European theatre in support of Allied airborne operations. Large excellent quality locally produced silver (no markings) sweetheart type badge to XI Bomber Sqn Royal Air Force cWW2 period. Hinged pin is missing the catch. Hand-made crafted from a piece of silver and engraved exceptionally well.
