36th Inf Div woven cloth formation sign. Also worn on the jungle slouch hat e.g. by the 10th Glosters Regiment. 36th Inf fought in the Arakan with the 5th Indian Division. Under the command of General Stillwell's Chinese-American army it saw much hard fighting in the Myitkyina and Mogaung areas. A hard fought Division. Nice condition. Glue marks to reverse (see pic).
