Small SA 1st Cape FA brass shoulder title on lugs. Mounted on an old piece of battle dress type material.

Worn 1926-32 only. GC.

The Battery was renumbered "1st" in 1926. In 1932, the name was changed to Cape Field Artillery (Prince Alfred's Own). From 1934 until the outbreak of World War II in 1939, the CFA formed part of the Coast Artillery Brigade.

British made felt on felt Formation Sign Badge to the 2nd Canadian Armoured Brigade H.Q. Worn c1943-45.

Ref. BoBD 1959.

The Bde was composed of the 6th, 10th and 27th Canadian Tank Regiments and saw service in Northwest Europe landing in Normandy on D-Day and remaining in combat up to Victory in Europe Day.
