The 4th Queen's Own Hussars was a Cavalry Regiment in the British Army, first raised in 1685. It saw service for three centuries, including the First World War and the Second World War. Royal Berks Regiment Sweetheart cWWII two piece brooch, nicely enamelled with pin back brooch fitting.

The R.Berks Regt cap badge motif is suspended under two love hearts 'Mizpah,' Hebrew for 'may God watch over you' and in the other 'The Lord watch between me & thee when we are absent from another,' love token. Badge is fixed on its 'Souvenir' shop card. No maker marks VGC.
