Scarce WW2 era D.C.L.I. 'Cornwall,' an 'unofficial' embroidered paste / glue / starch backed introduced for private purchase (likely for Officers) in 1943 as an alternative to the standard printed version. Replaced by 'D.C.L.I.' in 1948. VGC. Removed from album.

Great War. New Bristol Bn Glosters Regt pin badge. A celluloid badge with pin; said to have been issued to the 10th (Service) Gloucester Battalion, a Kitchener raised Unit prior to being issued cap badges. The Unit was formed in Bristol Sep 1914 and was disbanded Feb 1918. Near VGC.
