WWII German Kriegsmarine (Navy) Cloth EM/NCO’S Tropical Breast Eagle

cWW2 German Naval Kriegsmarine Enlisted Mans / Non-Commissioned Officer. 'Bevo-style' Machine woven national eagle in golden yellow rayon threads on a cut-out ribbed tan rayon base. Nice example un-issued with some expected use. Scarce in such good condition.


The Kriegsmarine adopted wear of the new national eagle on the front of the headgear and the right breast of the uniform on 24th March 1934. The Kriegsmarine originally used white uniforms and headgear as their tropical dress. The Kriegsmarine developed two separate brown tropical uniforms, with one being introduced before the outbreak of the war and the second one during the war.
