Worn by the 29th Independent Brigade group during the Second World War. The circle was said to represent the 'O' of General Oliver Leese, who was the first commander of the formation. Also, worn 1950s Korean War era issue for which the 29th Independent Infantry Brigade, which was formed as part of United Nations forces and completed Operations in Korea in November 1951.
