WWII 3rd Indian Infantry Division 'Chindits' Special Force formation sign badge. Removed from uniform, nice worn example. Wire embroidered golden Burmese dragon (Chinthern) on blue felt disc. Smaller wire rarer versions are normally attributed to Officers but, also worn by all ranks.

Special Force commanded by Major-General Orde Wingate DSO who tragically died in an air crash 24th March 1944.
