The Berkshire and Westminster Dragoons Lineage:

1961, formed by amalgamation of R (Berkshire Yeomanry) Battery from 299 (Royal Buckinghamshire Yeomanry, Berkshire Yeomanry, and The Queen's Own Oxfordshire Hussars) Field Regiment RA, and The Westminster Dragoons (2nd County of London Yeomanry) .

. C (Berkshire Yeomanry) Squadron at Windsor and Newbury .

1967.04.01 Disbanded and concurrently reconstituted as two units: .
. HQ (Berkshire and Westminster Dragoons) Squadron, The Royal Yeomanry Regiment in TAVR II at Chelsea, London .
. A Company (Berkshire Yeomanry), The Royal Berkshire Territorials in TAVR III at Windsor


1969 TAVR III element reduced to cadre, less A Company reorganised as 94 (Berkshire Yeomanry) Squadron, 71 Signal Regiment, Royal Signals, thereby effectively breaking up the regiment see also Westminster Dragoons.

1984 HQ Squadron rebadged as Westminster Dragoons and subtitled (Westminster Dragoons).
