WW2 era German Edelweiss Mountain Troops Arm Badge

Nice example of the Third Reich era Heeres 'Edelweiss' arm patch an embroidered example, executed on a darker-green melton cloth. Specifically intended for use by Army Special Forces, the 'Gebirgsjäger Truppen' (Mountain Troops). Nicely folded in un-used condition. This piece was never worn or tunic-attached. VGC.
