During the 1960s, Iraq formed a Special Forces Brigade with Parachute and Commando Troops. Members of this Bde saw action against the Israelis in the Yom Kippur War. Reportedly, too many Operations against the Iranians were carried out by Iraqi SF during the Iran Iraq War.
