cWWI, R.F.C. Padded pilot's wing attributed to 2nd Lt., later Major Henry Daniel Lysons of No. 69/81 Squadron. This wing was worn on the uniform he wore during 1918 and later in India. He was later be recommended for a DSO for his actions at Dunkirk in WW2, and was mentioned in dispatches.
Lyson's wing came with his medals and unfortunately was split up before I obtained it. Scarce padded some wear to the "F". Removed from uniform.
