The East Lowlands Universities Air Squadron no longer exists under that name, having merged in 2003 with other regional squadrons to form the East of Scotland Universities Air Squadron (ESUAS). It originally formed in 1969 from the merger of the Edinburgh University Air Squadron and St Andrews University Air Squadron. 1,


1969: Created as the East Lowlands Universities Air Squadron (ELUAS) through the combination of Edinburgh and St Andrews units.

2003: Combined with the Aberdeen, Dundee & St Andrews University Air Squadrons to establish the modern ESUAS based at Leuchars Airfield (Leuchars Station).
