Pair of Early 1st Bn Essex Regiment Officer's Shield Pattern Silver and Gilt Collar Badges

Early 1st Battalion Essex Regt Officer's Silver and Pr of Gilt Collar Badges (2nd and 3rd Bns in wire). In the shape of a shield with three seaxes (the County arms of Essex ). One collar has had a contemporary repair to lugs. Some wear to gilt but, otherwise in lovely condition.
