cWW1 Royal Navy Reserve (RNR) Trawler Section Cloth Arm Patch Badge

Rare, British Naval Great War era WWI, R.N.R. / T Trawler Section cloth badge. Moth damaged but, could be 'cut down' to shape.

The RNR(T) did any task they where asked to do, from deploying a fleet of trawlers as minesweepers and patrol vessels in coastal waters to Q Ships to ferrying soldiers ashore in Gallipoli.

A nice quote from the History of The Royal Naval Reserve:

"It is impossible to give a full account of the work of the trawlers, but sufficient incidents have been mentioned to show the extraordinary diversity of the jobs they tackled."
