The first Bristol Gp forming in 1909 with the formation of the 7th at Christchurch Clifton. The 8th was established soon after as part to the rapid growth both the movement in the city's northern suburbs. The 8th Bristol Scout Gp (which includes 8th Cubs pack) is primarily centred on its long-term leader 'Pip" Williams and its operations in the Brislington Area of Bristol.
