cWW1 Princess Mary Christmas 1914 Gift Fund Xmas Card Folded

WWI, Princess Mary Xmas 1914 gift fund postcard. From King George V ( in Army Uniform ) and Queen Mary for Overseas Troops. Note the card has been folded in centre (to fit into tin) and has a central crease.


As well as the 1914 Christmas Gift Box, another Royal gift distributed to the BEF and Royal Navy on Christmas Day was this sepia coloured postcard. On the back of it was this message, "With our best wishes for Christmas 1914. May God protect you and bring you home safe'.
