cWWII, Feldwebel scarce tan rank 'moustache' Sergeant for flight suit / jump para smocks.

This type of Luftwaffe rank Feldwebel / Sergeant with tan background was worn on jump smocks by Paratroopers of the 7th Fliegerdivision during the Invasion of Crete in 1941 ( Operation Mercury). It was the last Major combat jump in WW2 by German Fallschirmjager troops and this rank badge was worn long after as a mark of a Crete combat veteran on their jump smocks.
