Scarce wartime construction patch to the 9th Armd Bde. Removed from Battle Dress / uniform. GC. The white horse was also worn post-war with the TA.

The white horse reflected the Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry's connection to the white horse with the vale of the white horse.

El Alamein
