cWWII, 3rd Pattern Cap Badge as worn UK wide as the British Standard Pilotage Service Cap Badge. Removed from cap. GC.

This badge was a compromise for the "Bullion Boys". It saw the re-introduction of the bullion wreath taken from the Victorian 1st Pattern badge and combined it with the harder wearing enamel flag of the 2nd pattern gilt badge.
