cWW1 Princess Mary Christmas 1914 Gift Fund Lighter by Asprey London

A rare, First World War (WWI) period '1914 Princess Mary Gift Fund pipe or cigarette lighter'; the nickel plated case impressed with Princess Mary's Cypher and 'Xmas Fund 1914', the reverse with maker's details 'Asprey London'. Good used condition, no splits or cracks or dents.

These fine quality lighters were made by 'Asprey London' HM jewlers and given by Princess Mary as a gift to the Soldiers and Sailors fighting for King and Country, Christmas 1914.
