c1943-47, 5GR die-cast in white metal with loops to the reverse. In very good condition.

Ref: No D47 as illustrated in "insignia of the 5th Royal Gurkha Rifles (Frontier Force) as published by the Gurkha Museum. This pattern was worn from 1943 - 1947 on the general service cap and beret.
