Rectangular green woven patch with Norwegian crown in red and yellow above a monogram for King Olav V of Norway (1903-1991), a 'V' within an 'O' in yellow and black, above the Roman numeral, 'XIX' in white and the title, 'King Olavs Company' on a white scroll. Each year the companies of the Green Howards would compete in sport and military skills tests, the winning company would then be named after the Commander-in-Chief and would be eligible to wear this badge. This tradition was continued by King Olav's son, King Harald until the regiment was disbanded in 2006.
