Great condition pre-1855 silvered closed-back example by Jennens & Co London. Crowned '2' resting in 'Somerset Regt'. Complete with fixed shank.
Raised 22 Mar 1759 at Bath. Redesigned as 2nd Somerset Light Infantry on 12 Dec 1876 and became the 4th Battalion Somerset LI on 1 Jul 1881.
